Design Concept
The Worli Penthouse
A double-height penthouse with a long view across the bay — the design works with that view rather than competing for attention.
Volume was the starting point. With a room this tall, furniture had to be low and horizontal, so the eye travels outward instead of upward.
Walnut floors ground the space; walls stay ivory. A navy modular sofa anchors the centre, and a single sculptural brass light does the work that three smaller pieces would have done badly.
Evening was designed as carefully as daylight. Layered lighting lets the apartment shift from bright and open to low and enclosed without changing a single piece of furniture.
